Increase hotmail size from 2 MB to 25 MB without a penny

I read in some IT magazines that hotmail has changed it’s space to not-so-large extent which is free indeed. It was just to keep pace with the gmail race. The rediffmail followed the same suit,yahoo also increased it’s size. Then hotmail also changed its suite but nobody knew how to do that for free. It has increased it’s size just to mere 25MB for free ,later 250 MB and 2GB finally.
I just tried it. It works. No mails get deleted.

By the way, there is no need to be happy, since there are already free email service provider which provide around 1 gb space. But it would help you from deleting mails on and on to synchronize with the space.

Steps to increase the size of your Hotmail account if you are still struggling with 2MB???? Here’s a solution…

Login to your account
Go to Option –>Personal

Click My Profile
Change Country to United States
Wait for browser to Load US Settings
Change state to Florida and Zip Code to 33332
Click Update
Click Continue

Go to Language and Make sure it is English. Paste this link in Same Browser :
http://by17fd.bay17.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/AccountClose

Wait until the screen says “Your Hotmail account is closed and ready to be deleted.”
Click Close Account.

Go Back to Login and relogin to ur Account(i.e www.hotmail.com)
Just reactivate ur account.
No email will be deleted from ur account and now ur account size limit increase to 25 MB.
